Night Train (lights on), 2004, cast iron, lead, steel, aluminum and glass, 19x9x8 in.SOLD

A lone headlight piercing the darkness.  A wondrous distant sigh.   It’s the Night Train. 

It has a locomotive’s heft, both in weight and bearing.  Molded glass, illuminated, is a new element.  Edges are rounded; shapes are contoured.  Extensive use of biomorphic lines marks a shift in design.
